New Dual Electric Highlander JR Material Spreader
New for this 2010 year Loughberry Mfg. Corp has provided a spreader solution for the growing number of electric powered spreader customers. Loughberry is pleased to offer a dual electric powered spreader in the Highlander JR product line. The dual electric (EL2) comes standard with the 3/4 HP Electric Drive motor to power the conveyor along with a small electric motor, mounted on the spinner frame to drive the spinner assembly. The Highlander JR material spreader is a perfect choice for small municipalities, contractors, schools and stadiums that only need a small material, but all the features of a larger municipal spreader. Loughberry Mfg. Corp now has available for shows, visits and demonstrations a variety of Tarco® equipment including: Windy 100 leaf loader, Windy 400 leaf loader, Hurricane 1017 leaf loader and a Tarco® 2000 8.5 SS all-season dump body mounted on a brand new 2011 Ford F-550 XL V8 Powerstroke Diesel. We mounted the body right here in Saratoga Springs, NY and local Ford truck dealer Carmody Ford in Greenwich, NY supplied the truck chassis. Loughberry’s Tarco® Windy 100
The buzz in the industry is finally true. After being out of the market place for the past three years, Loughberry Mfg. Corp has picked up where Tarrant Manufacturing left off by bringing back the venerable Tarco® Leaf Loader product line. Loughberry Mfg. Corp. has completed an entire engineering review of these machines and has consolidated the product line into three major product categories: The Windy Series, The Hurricane Series and The Typhoon Series. These lines have replaced the old “Big-T-Vac” series of: TTL, TM & TC leaf collection equipment lines of the past. We have also chose to go with exclusively John Deere Diesel engines that meet or exceed Tier III emission standards. This is one of our first steps to provide municipalities with more fuel-efficient and “Greener” leaf collection equipment.
We hope to provide the market place with the same durable, high quality, and reliable leaf loader, which has been long associated with the Tarco® brand name. We will strive to always improve leaf collection equipment and design new equipment along the way. The return of Jeff Lantz.
After working with Tarrant Manufacturing for over 20 years, Jeff Lantz has returned to be a part of the Loughberry Mfg. Corp family. Jeff Lantz had worked previously as production manager, engineering, sales and technical support. Jeff Lantz’s experience with the product line has earned him the new title of Technical Sales. He will help oversee all technical aspects of our new leaf loader product line and will be available for sales, demonstrations, and provide information on any new equipment.
